Many people have approached me with question: “will the Runes tell me the future?” or “can you predict the winning numbers on the lottery this Saturday?” In both cases the answer is no. It is a common misconception that with the help of the Runes the reader can look into the future, but the truth is, he can not. Why so? I’ve been talking so much about runes lately, maybe it’s time to publish, at last, some more practical entry regarding these Nordic symbols? I will skip the theoretical part, because I’m sure you won’t encounter any difficulties finding information about what runes are, where did they came from and what meanings do they have – google it :). I am often asking Norse Runes for advices regarding different matters, and it wasn’t any different when I decided to write for A State of Mind again. I decided to use the technique known as The Rune of Odin, in this technique you’re picking up only one Rune from the bag, and you’re using it when you have a simple question, or you’re not seeking very complex advices (well, this explanation is very basic, but you have a picture now – he Rune of Odin equals simple and fast question :P).
