I don’t believe in coincidences, so when I’ve stumbled upon a press release promoting new book about psychic abilities by Nancy du Tertre, it took me only few minutes to send her an email, kindly asking for review copy. Have you ever wondered how to hunt ghosts? I did – and based on my point of view that everything starts with good reading, I put my hands on Ghost Hunter’s Guidebook by Troy Taylor. Well, since writing that article a lot of things have changed, and beside them, I managed to put my hands on another great book by Michelle Belanger, author of The Psychic Energy Codex. Michelle Belanger is a respected author of multiple books about paranormal and the occult. She is known of her appearance in Paranormal State, and her organisation – House Khepperu. She’s a great person to chat with on Twitter, and her knowledge of the occult is huge. I was more than happy when she sent me her Psychic Energy Codex for review. (more…)
Thanks to Dr JJ Lumsden I became a happy owner of the Hidden Whisper. It is a mystery novel and popular science book rolled into one. The first part allows us to follow parapsychologist, Luke Jackson as he investigates poltergeist activity in a small town in US. The second part is more a popular science than fiction.

Encyclopedia is probably the most useful book ever invented. It’s a general source of knowledge, very useful when you’re searching for ‘anchors‘ – references and short information about specific subject that would allow you to learn the general background of the term and point you to other, more detailed sources of info. The New Encyclopedia of the Occult by John Michael Greer is such encyclopedia for people interested in the occult. (more…)
