Motivation is necessary when trying to learn psychic abilities. Most people stop their own psychic development because they lack motivation. I know exactly how it’s like, because I’ve been there myself. But I managed to find motivation for myself, and now I want to share my story with you, so you could learn from my own experiences once again.
Learn how to develop psychic abilities, from aura view to psychic readings, healing & telekinesis, with the ebook guide by A State of Mind author.

Psychic Development Simplified
The beginning
The beginning was difficult, because when I first decided to develop my own skills, I didn’t had real motivation, no real goal. I wanted to learn some skills just to learn them. I thought it will be cool to have such skills, but beside that I didn’t know how I could use psychic abilities in daily life. I didn’t even thought about it. Without real goal, there was no motivation for practise. So I stopped practising…
When many months later I returned to developing psychic abilities, I still had no goal. So I decided to set my goal – I decided to teach psychic abilities because I already knew everyone can develop them, and this knowledge should be shared – so now I had a goal.
Finding motivation
This goal helped me greatly – having it meant that I need to practise, so I needed to find ways to motivate myself. The first thing I discovered was a book about psychic development… then another book, and few more. Within weeks I collected small library of books related to psychic phenomena, paranormal and the occult. That was the beginning…
Because I became interested in occult in general, I stumbled upon name of grimoire. I thought mixing this idea with simple journal could be useful. So I started writing my own psychic notebook, containing my knowledge and experiences. And that was one big step in motivating myself, because as it turned out, writing this notebook was a great way of having fun and I enjoyed it – and in order to keep writing it, I had to study more knowledge, and experience more things.
The Passion Board
I also started collecting newspaper clippings, photos and notes, putting them into a folder. Soon I realised I was enjoying this, and I decided to put this collection somewhere where I could look at it each day. So I created a passion board and hang it on the wall in my room. This way, I could look at each day and I could think about who I am, what I do and what are my goals.
Blog and other people
A State of Mind was growing and more and more people were asking questions and seeking my advices. In order to answer their questions, I needed to study more and practise more. When they were describing techniques they were using for own psychic development, in order to help them out with their problems I had to test their techniques on my own skin. That was another way to motivate myself.
Today
Today, with goal to create a big public library, still growing A State of Mind, supported by passion boards, notebooks and real people around me, I don’t seek more motivation – practise became a habit, and my psychic development continues each day. If you want to motivate yourself too, I have few advices.
- Set a goal - not a goal to learn a skill, but a goal that will motivate you to learn that skill, because for some reason it will be useful
- Use passion boards and notebooks – collect knowledge, respect it and share it.
- Share knowledge and help others – start your own psychic development blog, or write guest posts for A State of Mind. If you have knowledge, share it – both online and off-line.
Those are small things, but they helped me, maybe they will also help you? Who knows, just try…
