The best time of the year is coming to town and if you’re not a practising witch or a Wiccan (pagan), you probably won’t have to go to any sabbath on Halloween, so you wonder how to celebrate Halloween this year. Let me give you some simple and fun ideas :).
1. Give a reading
You need people willing for a reading. Get the runes, tarot cards or other items you’re using for divination and just ask “who’s first?” :). And then just give the reading while having fun. Just remember that you should be using any books to read the meaning of the items the knowledge is in head, and the interpretation is coming from your mind. Anyway, giving a simple reading among people is a great practise which will also teach you some social skills and will increase your self-confidence.
2. Play with energy signatures
Once again, gather the people and give them another form of reading – a psychic reading. Scan them, pick up their energy signatures and their auras, try to feel them and use the sensations and information you’re gathering to tell them about their personality. Feel yourself as a real psychic giving reading, yet remember you’re doing it for fun – it’s a great way to have some supernatural fun and also a great way to have to psychic reading practise!
3. Look into the future
Halloween in its original state was called Samhain and it was the end of celtic year, and of course, a beginning of new celtic year – people were using different divination systems to find out something more about the coming year. Why not doing the same? It is a common believe that during the time of Samhain the barrier between our world and the land of dead is in its thinnest state, and people skilled in divination can do this. Therefore, pick up the runes, tarot cards or other items you’re using for divination and find out what might happen in the near future :).
4. Meditate
Because of the state of the barrier between worlds, who knows what fascinating experiences you might have during meditation? Find a quiet spot somewhere and just fall into trance (weak or deep), and remain in this state picking up any weird sensations. Who knows, maybe this great “fall signature” I described in previous entry is somehow related to the old celtic beliefs? :)
Or you can just get some cool costume and go scaring people :). Anyway, do you have some original and cool ways to celebrate Halloween? Share your thoughts in comments, please!
