13 Norse Runes Scripts

Nathaniel, May 10th, 2009 ,

I’ve been talking so much about runes lately, maybe it’s time to finally publish some more practical entry regarding these Nordic symbols? I will skip the theoretical part, I’m sure you won’t encounter any difficulties finding information about what runes are, where did they came from and what meanings do they have – google it :). Ladies and gentleman, here are some Runic Scripts :).

Runic Scripts are nothing more and nothing less than a set of runes gathered together to combine the power of each rune into much more powerful “entity” – the Script. Such runic scripts can be also called a magic spells, because in some way this will be truth. Runic Scripts are form of spells, used mainly for creation of amulets and talismans, they serve as protective spells, or spells attracting love etc. If you have ever played Diablo 2 expansion, I’m sure you’re familiar with runic scripts already :).

A little bit of explanation – remember, runes work as long as you believe in their power – they are the mean to enforce your own beliefs and your own inner power. Also, do not try to create your own runic scripts if you have never work with runes before for at least a couple of months. They might be as well protective, as deadly symbols, and they should be dealt with caution. OK, enough of talking, let’s take a closer look at scripts themselves. Under each script you will see a short description, and below all 13 scripts I will tell you how to use them :).

Uruz Odala Gebo Wunjo Odala

Uruz Odala Gebo Wunjo Odala

This script, constructed using five runes, is meant to attract love. You know, male-female love ;). Hmm, I should start using it, don’t you think? Or maybe I should get out more, as Chris used to tell me?

Sowilo Thurisaz Algiz Odala Wunjo

This script will enforce your life power and your life enthusiasm. Use it if you feel drained of energy and you have problems with productivity.

Kenaz Isa Odala Raido Ansus

This is my favourite one – it is used as a mean to protect the computer. Yep, and it’s working – I have it on my old computer and since I placed it there, it did not have any technical malfunction. I’m still working on the OS part, though :P.

Kenaz Isa Fehu Perdo Odala

If you have lend someone money, and this person is not paying them back, use this script – trust me, you will see your money back in no time :).

Algiz Manaz Ansus Gebo Odala

This script will enforce your friendship. Good way to use it would be for both friends to wear it, i.e. as a pendant.

Algiz Berkano Uruz Perdo Gebo

Algiz Berkano Uruz Perdo Gebo

This script is generally protecting children from negative influences and events.

How to use these scripts?

OK, so now that you know some useful runic scripts, how to use them? You might pick up a piece of wood and engrave script on it, or you can draw the script on a piece of paper and place it in your wallet (i.e. good idea would be to draw the script responsible for attracting money and place it in your walled). Or you can draw a bigger script and place it somewhere in your room or office. You can engrave scripts on a piece of stone and make it a pendant. Or you can write down scripts on different items you’re using during your daily life. It’s that simple.

For example, on my old computer I wrote down protective script with a felt-tip pen, and in case of my laptop, I write down the script on a small piece of sticker and place it on the bottom of casing – nobody can see it, but it’s there and it’s working :). It’s that simple! You can write, draw or paint scripts, engrave or form them, cut them or whatever you think is appropriate – method does not matter, the symbols does.
