You can’t fix everything

Nathaniel, April 12th, 2009 ,
Hello, I've been expecting you, please use the RSS feed and get new posts directly to your feedreader :), receiving new tips for psychic development each 2 days.

I was sitting in a lotus position, falling into deeper and deeper state of mind each minute. When I reached the Temple, I decided to move into F21 (focus state, the Monroe Institute terminology). I begun to move into the light (no, not “this” light) and in a couple of minutes I was already in F21, sitting on a scarp, watching the wide and green forest below. I was here before, that time I saw a dried up tree. I managed to use some energy to heal it, quickly the tree become green and pulsing with life forces. When I was done, I heard the tree saying “thank you.” I felt good, because I was able to help a living being. This time I saw two dried trees, I managed to heal the first one, but when I reached the second one, something weird happened.

I’ve healed it, but not completely – a small branch remained dried. I tried again to heal it, but with no positive results. This is when I’ve heard the “voice” in my head: “you can’t fix everything” – I tried again, and again with no results. This is when I gave up, or better to say, this is when I accepted that I’m not all powerful and I can’t fix everything I want. My next minutes in F21 were also very interesting, but it’s not time nor place to discuss these, I want to focus on the tree :).

“You can’t fix everything”

No I can’t, no one can. Sometimes it’s hard to understand and accept , but no one said the world is perfect, right? Sometimes we will experience things we don’t like, but we can’t do anything about them and we have to accept them as they are. Acceptance is a very important and useful skill many people just don’t have. They’re asking “why me”, “why him“, “why this“, “why not“, “why“. Sometimes there’s no answer, things are just happening. Know this, everything we’re experiencing and encountering in our lives, have a meaning, it’s worth something. Like this tree in my F21 experience – the goal was to point me to this matter we’re discussing right now, to teach me accept some things and to share my knowledge with you. Sometimes the best thing we can do is to sit down and just watch. Without action, without any thoughts, just observing how things will develop further. Know that lack of action is an action too ;). Instead of making rashly things, we’re just observing and drawing findings.

Don’t try to heal the world at all costs

When someone doesn’t ask for help – don’t try to force him, so he will let you help. It will only make more problems, release aggression and make you feel guilty. Instead, focus on helping those who are asking for help, there are many people out there. And don’t make the same mistake I did – don’t try to change the world on your own. I tried to do this in case of Online Psychic Community. I was building websites, giving advices, trying to persuade people for help. At the end, I end up with ASoM only, and three or four people who really supported me (I’m not counting my readers and commentators, oh I just hope that my English won’t make problems right now lol). Anyway,, I decided to focus on myself and A State of Mind, instead of creating another websites for this great niche. And if I will make new site one day about psychic phenomenon, I will do this for myself, not for others (even if they will benefit from my work).

One person can’t change everything, if anything at all. One person can point the right direction, but those are people who should be changing the world. Change we need, yes – but one person can’t do this. But is there anyone out there willing to work? Honestly, I don’t want to find out, that’s why for now I stick with “one-person” philosophy – learn on your own, and if you want, share the knowledge, but forget about ideals. Uff…

The world is as it is, and changing it is a long and complex process. Maybe one day everything will change, but right now let us stick with two basic rules:

  1. You can’t fix everything.
  2. Don’t try to heal the world on your own.

Focus on yourself, and when the time will be right, share knowledge and help people, but don’t force it. Sit and observe…

One comment so far for You can’t fix everything

  1. Please stop discouraging people! We live in a world where everything is possible…u just need the right ideas. I agree that there might not be one perfect idea/plan etc. that can change/heal the world because not all ppl think or act the same….but there always is a perfect idea/action that can change/heal at least one person. Or maybe I’m wrong about not being 1 perfect idea that can work for all…..for example: 1 idea can create another. So all we need is an idea that is perfect for some ppl and that can give birth to the perfect idea for others :) ! Everything is possible! U just have to search or create it ^_^ .
    All we need is imagination.
Sorry for my bad english btw :D.
